Unfortunatley, the mail boxes aren't secured. The facing opens on all the
boxes at once. I haven't had anything taken, but it certainly leaves room
for thievery. I've notified First Properties.

Yes, a camera was installed in the storage room, but also the locks were
changed on that (as well as the front) door. I believe that the thefts from
the storage locker were stopped because the construction guys who worked on
the building no longer had access to that room or the building itself (the
code to the front doors were changed as well). Of course, I can't prove
that, but there seemed to have been a lot of bad feelings between them and
Rezmar (the developer). Probably because of the way Rezmar handled the
business end of the development, which I won't get into...
But I got to know the guy who was the construction supervisor, since I was
always in the building checking out the construction of my unit...and he
expressed to me that he wanted to do something (very juvenile) to the loft
unit that was owned by the Rezmar guy in charge of our building (a unit that
was intended to be rented out). Something like putting meat in the ductwork
so it would get rotten and infested and stink up the place. I pointed out
to him that that didn't hurt Rezmar, but affected the innocent people that
were going to live there, so that was pointless. Anyway, I wouldn't put it
past them to try to take out revenge on the developer by stealing stuff from
the tenants....but it's just theory on my part. Anyway, they've been gone
for a long time....
