This message is being sent from an owner, NOT from a member of the board and nothing in it should be misinterpreted as the opinion of our board.

If you dropped something accidently in your front hall and it made a mess would you leave it there? Even if you had a "maid" coming in later in the day, wouldn't you clean up the bulk of the mess? Well-not some slob in our building!!

Is it possible to isolate the incident on tape and post the picture of the jerk who broke the beer bottles in the front hall last night and post his/her picture all around the building so everyone would know who the pig in our building is? Even if it was a visitor, the person who was being visited would recognize them and hopefully ask them "What the hell were you thinking to leave it there for everyone else to walk around as they left the building this morning?"

Please be aware that a car parked in the underground garage was broken into last week. We have to make sure the overhead door closes behind us and that the pedestrian doors lock after us. I know I have been sometimes lax about hitting the button and waiting for the door to close, but since hearing of this incident I have been more vigilant and have discovered that it takes less than 10 secs for the door to close. If waiting that 10 secs will make us late for wherever we are heading we could probably make it up by walking a little more quickly when we get to our destination.

Hey guys-don't forget the annual meeting and party next Thursday (12/16)! This is the meeting at which the board will vote on the budget and two members will be voted in to the board. We cannot expect that our opinions be taken seriously at subsequent gatherings if we don't bother to vote on the budget or board members. Besides, the party is an opportunity for free appetizers and cocktails, a chance to get together with the people we have seen in the elevator as well as to be introduced to a restaurant in our neighborhood for those who have never been to Caffe La Scala
