Subject: Vanguard Lofts - Carpet and Hallways

All the hallways will be touched up to once the carpet installation is
complete. We are still waiting for the installation of carpet on the 1st
Floor. Once the project is completed the painters will be scheduled to
touch-up the walls, baseboards, trim, and doors. The carpet for the 1st
Floor was on order and I believe has already come in. We're just waiting
on the installation.
Since the carpet installers will be returning to the building soon, this
is a good time to report any problems with the carpet on floors 2 - 7.
Contact Loretta at First Properties and let her know if the carpet wasn't
completely tacked down, or if it has come loose.
We are also having special carpet runners made for the 1st Floor common
areas to handle the everyday traffic and normal wear/tear.
Once you report the maintenance/repair items it is important to follow up
with First Properties to make sure all problems with the carpet are
addressed. Loretta will have more information as to when the carpet
installers will be back at the building.

This is a slightly different issue but since the new carpet was put in,
the hallways were never really cleaned up...at least on the 6th floor.
There is still glue on the base boards and the walls are dusty. Also, it
looks like the carpet wasn't completely tacked down on the east side of
the hallway on our floor. I have been meaning to call Loretta about it
but we have been so distracted by other issues that I never got around to
doing it. I will give her a call but is this an issue on the other
floors?
