Sadly, it looks like the little critters are nesting up on the 601 balcony
instead of 501. They land on our railing with twigs and string in their
mouths and then shoot up one floor, chirping and flapping. These might
be ravens or grackles, though. Maybe there are multiple nesters in the
balconies.

I'm a bit disappointed - I remember enjoying watching your little brood,
one floor down; we could look over and watch the hatchlings grow, and we
were all a little sad when they flew the coop. My sister was here on the
day they did and was quite impressed.

As I recall, you/Carl could still enjoy one side of your balcony while
the doves were on the other. Hopefully, others in the building can do
the same thing. And, no, we're not experiencing and bird crap from above.
They go elsewhere---
