Hey there-
Yes, July 10th was the Bastille Day run. I saw some flyers on cars
parked on Van Buren and Throop a few days before the race to notify
about the street closure. That was a step up from last year for which
they put up signs the day of the race....anyway, my boyfriend's car was
towed due to this race last year (he parked on Van Buren before going
out of town for the weekend). He took it to court and won b/c the
judge agreed it was unusual for there to be a race on a Thursday and
b/c there was no advanced notice...
So FYI, think it's definitely worth fighting.
