Thanks for the kind words Mary. I didn't specify the removal of the
decals on the glass, but that's something we can easily do ourselves.
I'll look into it. Michael Peterman manufactured the address signs from
a design we worked on together, and he really did a wonderful job. (By
the way, if anyone is into font trivia, the font of the 1250 sign is
actually named "Vanguard." I thought it was very appropriate.)
About the doorstop, it was removed and wasn't reinstalled when they did
the tile. The contractor is coming back to patch the wall and install a
doorstop when they finish the punchlist of the lobby. And the screen can
be removed from the stairway. We probably can do it next time we have
the windows cleaned.

Subject: our new look
The new address panels have been installed and they look FANTASTIC!!
Will we now get rid of the "decals" on the glass that served as our
address for the past 9 years? They always looked tacky and even more so
now that the other looks so great. There are also a couple of light
fixtures installed already and they are nice too. Somebody has good
taste and a pretty good eye for what looks good. Thanks to them.
Now for two things that don't look so good. There is already a hole in
the sheetrock behind the door leading from the lobby to the hall to the
mailroom. Evidently we need a door stop to keey the handle from hitting
the wall. And there are screens on the windows in the west stairwell on
the third floor. Both are ripped. Since the windows can't be opened
anyway (they are screwed shut) why dont we just remove the screens
rather than have them flapping inthe wind?
Mary
