All,
The water lines were disconnected while the hot and cold water pipes were repaired. This work caused air to get into the water lines. Simply run your water for a few minutes to bleed the air pockets out of the water line.
If your hot water is murky or cloudy, simply do the same thing... turn on the hot water for a few minutes and allow it to run until the water clears.
The water is completely safe to drink.

I let it run for a few minutes and sporatic problem (and murky problem)
seemed to clear up. Your water may splash, but try turning it on full blast
and letting it run. Maybe wear a rain coat.
