Please let this topic go. The guidance has already been given on what to do by Jim. If you wish to have it changed then attend the next board meeting and bring it up and suggest that the rule be changed. It your car has too many items in the trunk how about putting it in your storage unit on the first floor until you need to use it. Bottom line is a rule is a rule and there is nothing you can do but comply until the rule has been formally changed.

I have had one of those folding grocery carts for years and I keep it
in the trunk of my car. I should add that I don't have a very big car,
but have never had any problem fitting it in the trunk. Also, it
would seem that it would be very hard to limit any new rule to just
one item, like shopping carts. I recently visited a friend in San
Francisco. We visited her daughter and went out through the garage in
her building. People are allowed to store things in and around their
parking spots, and it looked really , really junky in there.

It's been brought to our attention that some people are using parking
spaces for storage. So, a reminder: The rules are explicit (See rules,
H-1): Vehicles only! No boxes, carts, paint, or anything else.
Any non-vehicle in the parking space that's NOT removed by next
Tuesday
will be removed and a fine issued.
Also, if you have a dog, please be sure it's registered.
And, no pets or bikes out the front door. Please use ONLY the back
door.
