Carly-
This is an issue that most 7th floor residents deal with on a pretty consistent basis and when people walk on the roof you will find that a bunch of junk falls as well. My unit leaks pretty regularly and I always have to have the roofing contractor out to fix it.
Our roof on our building has been a major issue for years but never really gets fixed and there is nothing you can do to make it any better for you. The problem is people on the other floors have no clue how awful it is for the 7th floor owners.

Hello everyone,
Is it just my unit, or is the entire 7th floor having the same problem?
After I get done cleaning my unit, a gust of wind will disrupt the ceiling, and a ton of concrete, dust and hopefully not asbestos will come shaking down from in-between the timber ceiling.
Breathing is very difficult, and you can forget about cleaning.
The dust is unspeakable.
Also, some of the timber's seem to be wet after it rains. I am hoping there isn't mold growth ensuing.
I am just worried about health factors, and especially if anyone on the 7th floor has children.
My allergies are over the top, and living comfortably seems to be out of the question.
Just wondering if anyone else is experiencing any of this, or if there any suggestions as to fixing this?
