coincidentially, i visited a loft development yesterday and was surprised to
find that they had replaced carpet in the elevator with a metal material
similar to what is found in moving trucks (a stainless textured material).
It really looked great and of course would be easy to maintain and would only
require matting. This same building also had a camera wherein you could see
the lobby......it was great!
