Wow! I am so glad someone else raised this issue. I struggled to learn the
code for quite sometime and then gave up. I agree and think that it is
unfair that some people were/are able to enter the building (even if it is
just the first door) without trying to put their keys in the awkward lock
while others, like myself, have to struggle with the keys all of the time. I
agree- if everyone cannot gain access using a code, than no one should be
able to.

Kim, Didn't you know...only a select few "special people" know the access
code. The rest of us have to struggle with our keys. I've heard it is a
security issue and this makes sense. But what's good for one should be good
for all. Every homeowner should have his/her unique security code or it
should be totally eliminated.

Thanks for your info. I, too have been plagued by the
       "newspaper
bandit". I subscribe to the Sun-Times. I called to see if door
       delivery
is available. It IS. However they say they'll need a key &/or a
       code to
gain access to the building remember at one time residents were
       given
the code for the first door. That since has changed. Does
       anyone know
the new one or if we'll be supplied with in the future? (It is
       a great
benefit tot quickly be able to get into the place we all own.
       This is
especially true in inclement weather or when you have groceries
       or
packages.) So, does anybody out there know how get the code?
       How can the
various vendors obtain this inf.. Having the papers delivered
       might
       solve this problem.
