Owners,
For one, I am disappointed that the board choose to sign a ten year
contract with Dishnetwork. I still feel that this is an infringement on our
rights to choose. Yes, I realize that there is only one other source of cable
TV right now. That will not always be the case and we have limited our
options for the next ten years. We do live in a community, however, that
community should stop at my door. This is not the case in this situation.
Also, Michael stated that I was misinforming people. That was certainly not
the case. The information I offered for discussion was directly taken from
the dishnetwork website. Those prices advertised were the for single
dwellings units and the only ones I found. We have NOT been furnished with
any other price schedules. If there is one please forward it to me. If there
are any specific mistakes in what I said, point them out. The board actively
offered to hear our opinion on the dish issue and that is what I did, offer
my opinion. Further, the purpose of the discussion board is to open the lines
of communication between residents of our community on those issues that
affect us all. We might not agree on every issue that faces our community,
but I have the right to express my opinion.
