I trust the poorly closing rear door is on the punch list that Rezmar still
needs to tend to. It has NEVER closed properly, which is usually due to poor
installation. This should not be a cost that the association needs to absorb.
Rezmar should have done it right in the first place.. Yes, in the meantime
we all need to make sure it's secure when we use it. Perhaps a different type
of "closer", one that could be set to hold open when necessary can be
installed this time.

Paul's suggestion that restricting pets to the rear elevator would exacerbate
the problem is a bit off base. The offending owner (and yes, it IS the
owner's fault) will cause a problem no matter which entrance he/she uses. The
rear stairs, elevator, and lobby are much easier to clean than the carpeted
front access. Pissing dogs are not the only problem. As the weather turns
nasty, the pets return to the building wet and muddy. Hopefully, responsible
owners will take the time to clean off the pet in the tiled rear lobby,
keeping the front one more presentable. Just a couple of suggestions.
