We use a similar device, but have had no problems. Make sure the container
has adequate water and the hose is securely on the container. If this
isn't sufficient, try placing a nylon mesh cloth (something with small
enough mesh to catch lint, but still allows air to escape). That will give
you an idea of how much lint might be escaping the vent spaces between the
tube between the drying and container.
