Interestingly enough, I saw Governor Blagojevich leaving that building a couple of weeks ago when I was coming home from work. I didn't think anything of it, until now. Hmmm.

Ted Mazola and Gus Mauro, partners at New West Realty Inc., plan to develop a condominium complex on the Near West Side in Chicago. The partnership bought the property in March for $6.9 million and plans to convert a former warehouse and loft-style office building at 1224 W. Van Buren into 189 residences, possibly adding a floor to make the structure eight stories. On adjoining property at 1225 W. Jackson, they plan to build 200 units.
