My recollection is like Wayne's, but a bit foggier. I think we had the
option of renting from Dish, or buying the reciever, but I forget the
details. I think we bought one and rented the other.

For what it's worth, we've had exceptional service from Roddy, dating
back to James Martinez and more recently Solius. They've been
responsive, come out immediately, and in the past even helped on
non-Dish computer/tv issues at no cost. Is there some way to heal the
breach rather than get involved in a costly legal wrangle?

How much are attorney's fees costing the association to break the
contract? What would Echostar provide that Dish doesn't? For how much?
Would it affect our current relatively inexpensive internet access?
