so, it's easier for you to hop over that fence than to go back to your car and retrieve the clicker and walk out the gate? i'm not saying that to be smart or anything, it just doesn't seem logical to me. when i moved into the building when it was first opened in '99, that side door was locked due to some kind of dispute betwen rezmar and one of their contractors or vendors and none of the residents could open that door until the dispute was cleared up. from what i remember, it must have been at least 6 months or so. so that forved everyone into the habit of carrying the clicker between loft and the parking lot. here's why you shouldn't keep your clicker in the car - suppose that someone hops over the fence into the parking lot, breaks into your car with the intention of stealing it...and the only way they can get out of the lot is because you left your clicker to the gate in your car. yeah, maybe a one in a thousand chance, but it's there....

Because my clicker is in the car... I don't usually carry it with me, I
leave it in my car clipped to my sun visor.

> i know this may sound like a stupid question, but why are you 'hopping the
fence' at all when you can just open the gate with your clicker to get out
of the parking lot? btw, that side door has never worked properly since it
was originally put in
