Well, I don't know if a security guard is a practical idea or not, but we must do something. This is getting very scary. This is two weeks in a row that we have had a break-in, or attempted break-in. Now a mugging. Up until this summer (as far as I know) there have been some car break-ins, some packages and bikes stolen, but the individual units have not been breached, nor has a person been mugged or assaulted. It is ironic, that as the neighborhood becomes more developed, with more people around, crime has increased. Or maybe, not so ironic, there are more things to steal.
We need to call an emergency meeting for owners, ASAP!
I would also like to know how did these people get in today. Last week, we were told they broke the locks of the two front doors. I didn't see any evidence of that when I came home today. Did they get in with a key? Did someone let them in?
