Jim:

Do we need to put recyclables in a particular kind of trash bag, or are the typical plastic bags ok. I'll assume, since the bins handle plastics, that regular bags are acceptable, unless I hear otherwise.

Thanks.

Here's the follow-up to some of the questions on the recycling bins
outside by the trash.

Yes, we can mix paper, plastic, and aluminum cans and glass bottles in
the same bin.

Some additional information:

- Wash out ALL containers first before placing them in the recycling bin.
Food and residue attracts pests... in particular rats.

- All recycled material can be placed in any bin. Waste management will
sort the material. We have three (3) 95 gallon bins, so let's get them
filled up

- The waste management company (private, NOT the city) are emptied
once a week

- PLEASE DO NOT LEAVE ANYTHING IN THE TRASH CHUTE ROOM, either trash,
recycle material, or especially empty boxes. Julio does not get paid to
transport recycling material to the bins

- All recycled material must be placed into the recycling bins behind the
building

- Do NOT put trash in the recycle bins

- We (the association, i.e all home owners) pay for the privilege to
recycle and save the earth, so let's take adavantage.

- If the recycle bins are full, please kindly wait until they are emptied
before dropping off material to be placed in the bins.
