Subject: Re: Pedestrian Gate to the remote lot
Many of you have notified First Properties (and the Board) about the
problems with the pedestrian gate. When weather changes, the gate's
functionality changes. This has been an on-going problem over the
years. Short-term fixes don't always work well. The Board is
soliciting cost estimates on various alternatives to a solution.
As nice as it would be for solutions to happen overnight, it takes a
bit of time to obtain the information and then process it. The Board
will review various proposals at the September meeting and move forward
from there.
The key thing to remember: Repairs cost money, and it's better to
examine alternatives to try to find the best solution.
