Storm warnings - rules violations

Subject: Storm warnings - rules violations

We've said repeatedly:
DO NOT PROP THE DOORS OPEN TO THE BUILDING AND WALK AWAY!

This isn't a minor thing. It's a security issue! The two residents
who propped the front interior/exterior doors open on Aug 17 about
5:12 in the morning and left it unattended put us all at risk. This
type of violation is serious and will be dealt with accordingly. If
abusers repeat the offense, they risk losing front door access as a
chronic security threat. If anybody sees a door propped open and
unattended, unprop it and report it to the Board:

A few other issues:

1) Remember: The front door and lobby is a dog-free zone. There have
been complaints of residents using the front area. When the Board
receives complaints, it has to check it out, and this puts the
dog owner(s) at risk of fines.

2) Bikes must be taken out the rear door, NOT the front door. There have
been few reports of front-door bikes, but just a reminder for the new
folk in the building.

3) All dogs must be registered with first properties annually. If you
have an unregistered dog, contact First Properties and register it.
Sadly, the Board will begin enforcing the registration provision, so
register your dog if you haven't done it yet.

4) City codes prohibit wood/charcoal grills on balconies. This is a
safety issue, but it also puts the Association (owners) at risk of
fines from the city if somebody reports it. With the neighborhood
becoming more populated, the risk of somebody reporting it increases,
so please comply with the ordinance (and Condo rules).

YOu can get a copy of the rules and other documents at:

(you need a login id and password, so contact me in private email
if you don't have one).

Sorry for the rant --
