Just a reminder: The old and new rules were explicit, and we've discussed
this often enough: The guest parking spaces, as the term implies,
are for guests. On occasion, it might be necessary for an owner to park
in one for an hour or two for good cause, but the guest spots are
intended for service people and guests. Period.
Should a guest need a space for longer than 24 hours, the solution is
easy: Just contact the board for permission. Permission is routinely
granted unless there is a need to block them for maintenance or similar
reason.
Residents who inappropriately park in the guest parking spots risk a fine
and towing. Guests who abuse the parking spots risk towing.
The owner of that Acura might want to move it.
