They are not suppose to install flat screens above fireplaces. Someone may do it for you but they are not suppose to. If you have niche maybe it is okay or you can always do it yourself.

I'm debating weather or not to install my flat screen tv above the
fireplace. Does anyone else have their tv above the fireplace and have you
had any issues with it? Such as problems with glare, height, the fireplace??
