I recall a previous discussion on this matter, but do not remember if there was a resolution. The short power outage today made me think about how we get into the building in case of a prolonged outage. The battery power on the access system kicked in but if I recall, the battery only works for a limited time and we have no keys to use once this time expires. Unless the locks have been rekeyed to use the key we have for the gates, we are locked out and need some way to get into the building.
I know this scenario is remote in its possibility, but the fact that it did occur once before means we need to know what to do in case it happens again.
