I think my balcony is basically okay though at least one screw is missing. I would feel better if someone took at look at it before it was too late for it to be corrected. Liz 608

Chris will provide a more detailed response to the 7th floor issues.
It's not being ignored. Chris and Brian are currently providing a
punch list for Alpine, which eats up their time. There were also
some issues related to car damage and misuse of recycling bins with
Alpine that Chris has been dealing with. We have a Board/Owners meeting
tentatively scheduled for July 2 at which we'll be discussing 7th floor
issues and the contract with USA Dish, among other things.
Projects that were planned and budgeted for '08 have no bearing on the
roof project. The roof requires considerable planning to determine
what's possible, getting estimates, determining the best time
to have the work done, and budgeting for it. It's not something done
quickly or on-the-fly. Brian, Chris, and a Vanguard owner/architect
specializing in roofs will be discussing options and timing.
We urge owners to inspect their balconies using the items posted in the
elevevator as a guideline. If you aren't sure of the quality of work,
a Board member look at it or take a picture and email it to us.
Jim
