That spaces are sometimes empty doesn't mean that they're always
empty. They aren't. The restrictions are intended to reduce misuse and
abuse by a few people to assure fair use by all. Calling attention
to a rule with a courtesy warning strikes us as reasonable.

In the case at hand, the resident *did* notify 1P, but apparently the
person responsible for communiating the information to us was out of
the office sick for a few days. In this case, it was a breakdown in
communication which has been corrected.

Informing the Board of extended parking simplifies things and we
can easily work out some arrangement.

A few old-timers in the building can probably remember when some
people used the guest spots as their personal parking places for
weeks at a time in the early years.
