Typically the closet should be wired already. They shouldn't have to gain
access but if there are problems they may need to get access to the closet and
you should call 1P to get access. But it should be just fine. I too prefer the
good days when I had direct access to all things I needed in the building I
paid for... I often wonder I what abuse resulted in that privilege being
removed....

I'm helping a fellow tenant get land line phone service and was wondering
if access to the LAN closets (Dish/cable tv rooms near garbage chute) is
necessary. AT&T was clueless on the matter. If so, how do I gain
permission/access?
