As an FYI to all, the elevator sign was put up with a very strong adhesive (I'm sure the individual tried unsuccessfully to remove it first). I will attempt to remove it tonight with a special solvent. I will also have another sign made, but ask the sign maker for his suggestion on a different type of material.

I was real pleased to see the obscenity carved in the sign on the front
elevator. It validates the Board's decision to ban pets from the front
elevators and hall by confirming that at least one pet owner in the building
is an absolute d---head. It's a shame that this one moron will make all pet
owners suspect. This individual (who probably is too stupid to handle e-mail
and will therefore never see this posting) must live at the west end of the
building and is evidently too lazy to walk the few extra steps to the rear
elevators. How can this ignoramus be so upset as to effectively destroy our
property? It's not like he/she was told to get rid of the pet (Some buildings
do not allow them at all) or forced to walk up and down the stairs. This
person should not even own a pet. If they are too lazy to walk to the rear
elevator I think it's safe to say they don't pick up after their pet outside
either. For that matter, I wonder if they always take the pet outside or is
their unit used as the dog's toilet?
