Washing Balconies

PLEASE!!!

If you live on the 7th floor, DO NOT repeatedly dump pails of
cleanser-filled water on your balcony to wash it. It drips on people
below, kills their flowers, and generally is uncool. Also, be
aware that when somebody says, "hey, water is coming down on us,"
that's a cue to *stop* the water flow.

Worse, when somebody asks if it's coming from the 6th or 7th floor,
don't lie and claim it's from the 6th when there are witnesses seeing
you do it from 7.

Dumping water can be attributed to cluelessness. Lying about the source
when there are witnesses from at least two separate units who see the
lie cannot.

So, a neighborly bit of advice: Good neighbors learn to trust each other,
not hide the silverware when they come in sight.

Cheers,

Jim Thomas / 501
