JP,
I have no problem asking you when I see you. And you've always answered
everything to the best of your ability. But I do feel however we (residents)
shouldn't have to "ask" for a status. Rather one should be provided so
problems/concerns don't escalate. Thanks.
PS Ca you let me know how I go about replacing a lost garage opener? :)

An expensive part of the elevator (not under warranty) apparently needs to
be replaced. We have been negotiating with the elevator repair company and
the manufacturer of the elevator on the price of the repair. The part is
not readily available and has to be ordered. I assure you the issue has not
been forgotten nor has it been ignored.
I, and most if not all board members, am happy to give a status on just
about any issue if someone just asks. E-mails to board@vanguardlofts.com
<mailto:board@vanguardlofts.com> are answered. I answer my phone (the
number is listed on the web site) and I always stop to answer when people
ask me questions in the hallway. If people have questions, please don't
wait until you get angry, just ask us.

I agree. This is totally unacceptable. To think we have not noticed the
elevator out for all this time is ridiculous. Certainly by now someone
somewhere MUST know something. This problem is getting VERY old. We all
deserve better.

Subject: Rear Elevator
Can someone please explain what is going on with the rear elevator? It has
been out of service for almost two weeks, and the sign on the elevator still
says the same thing .. "will return Monday.." I originally thought "Monday"
meant Monday, March 25th, but now I'm wondering if it means Monday, October
7th??? A status would be nice.
Thanks,
Belinda Leeney
