Jim,
I thought Michael already answered this, but I could be wrong. Sometimes it is hard to remember what might have been sent to the discussion list or just the board. I have been assured that First Properties forwarded the tax notices as soon as they received them. Yesterday, I asked Michael to send out a notice to all parking space owners which I'm told will be out by Wednesday. I thought I posted that yesterday, but I could have hit reply instead of reply all. (Please note that a sale of the taxes is not the same as the parking space being sold.)
When I looked out on the County web site that Tom was nice enough to post, I noticed that the address for the delinquent parking spaces (at least the sample I looked at) was 1250 W. Van Buren LLC on Elston. That is Rezmar. They got the notices and eventually sent them to First Properties. Keep in mind that Rezmar was not legally obligated to forward the notices. They could have thrown them in the trash. (Please note that I am NOT saying that they should have thrown them away.) I also do not believe that Rezmar has the authority to contact the County and have the addresses changed. This is a pain in the butt, that is for sure, but I think we can thank the County as much as anyone for this problem.
Given the responses I have sent to both individuals and the group, I do not feel that the issue has been ignored. I probably spent as much time on this issue yesterday as I did at my job.
As to why a private individual posted a notice to owners - good question. The person that raised the issue here never brough it to the board's attention before posting to the discussion list. The original post to the discussion list was the first I had heard about it.

regarding tax notifications and such. One that has been asked in
various ways but hasn't been answered yet: What's been happening to
the tax notifications that have gone from LaSalle to....Rezmar? 1P?
Now, if 2002 parking space tax notifications were mailed to LaSalle,
who did LaSalle send them to? Did 1P receive them? If so, what was done
with them?
What's 1P doing about the situation now to notify owners of potential
delinquent taxes? Given the potential magnitude of the problem, and that
a tax sale to non-owners/residents could be a problem for us, I would
hope that 1P is doing something to make owners aware of the current
problem.
What I'm finding a bit troublesome is the suggestion that 30 of us
could be dismissed as "to blame" for not paying attention, as if that
resolved the matter, and no further discussion necessary.
Given that a significant majority of owners are in arrears for parking,
the problem can't be dismissed as simply the result of a few irresponsible
owners. So, a few questions:
Why is 1P apparently ignoring our concerns raised here?
Why did a private individual, rather than 1P, take the initiative
to post a notice about this to the owners?
What happened to the 2002 parking space notices from LaSalle bank?
Did 1P receive them? If so, what happened to them?
Sorry to start getting a bit strident on this, but there are some
questions to be answered, and it would be nice if 1P starts paying
attention to these rather serious concerns rather than silence.
Michael, do you have some answers?
