Dear Jim,

Thanks for the tips. I came home via the a back
door at 5:00 am Sunday, the door was fine. When I
left for work at around 1:00 P.M Sunday by the back
door, the strike plate for the back door looked as if
had been crobared and the door could not latch shut.
There was a moving company present, moving out a unit
from floor 5. I asked the mover if they pryed the
plate open so the door would not lock them out, they
said no. I went up to the unit on floor five and let
them know that maybe the movers damaged the back door
stick plate. The tenets said they would call 1P. I
called the emergency number for 1P and told the
operator that there was a security breach. By the
time I got back home at 7:00 on Sunday, there was a
new strike plate installed and the back door could
lock properly. Did anyone's unit get broken into? I
feel it would take a very drunk moving company to do
the type of damaged I witnessed to the back door. I
live above the back door and heard no sound of prying
or crowbars, but I did not come home till 5:00 AM and
went straight to bed. Did anybody see anything? It
goes to show that if you report a problem quickly, it
can be rectified.

Later,
Michael Kolar
Owner, Unit 215.
