Cathching up on some loose ends:
1) HOT WATER: It looks like the hot water heater will require some
major repair of valves and pumps. At the moment, things are fine,
but the underlying problems remain. This could be a fairly substantial
expense, but the Board will be meeting with service technician after
the holidays to explore options.
2) CHRISTMAS TREES: What goes up usually must come down. Same with
Christmas trees. Please remember: Trees should be wrapped in tree-bags,
available at Dominick's, Home Depot, hardware stores, and many other
places. Help keep dead needles off the hallway carpets by wrapping
your tree when you take it down to the dumpster. Accidents happen, so
if you drop needles, please clean them up. It saves work and keeps
things clean. Messes put mess-makers at risk of a fine as well, so
let's all collectively cooperate. And, please: DO NOT LEAVE TREES IN
BY THE TRASH SHOOTS ON YOUR FLOOR!
3) HOLIDAY PARTY: It's still on the table. We're looking for an
economical way for a collective celebration of the new year.
