FYI: Warren is our project manager from First Properties. On large
projects like the balcony project, First Properties assigns a separate
person to manage the contractor.
The workers have begun replacing the decking this morning. Just a
reminder to everyone to remove any items from their balcony based on the
schedule below:
May 8-16: Units 09-10-11-12
May 19-23: Units 13-14-15
May 27-June 3: Units 01-02-03-04-05-06
June 3-5: Units 07-08
The contractor has a delay charge clause in his contract if he cannot
access balconies because personal items remain. In order to ensure a
timely completion of this project and ensure construction costs do not
increase, we need all residents to cooperate by removing all of their
items from balconies. Also, residents may wish to close their drapes
for privacy while work is being completed.

I was just speaking w/ one of the guys with the decking company and they
mentioned that was one of their personal vehicles. he said it was
cleared by Warren fr First Props. I wasn't familiar w/ him and said he
should call Donna.

Subject: Vanguard Lofts - Visitor Parking
All,
As a reminder, all visitor parking spaces are unavailable during the
duration of the 2008 Balcony Decking Replacement Project. Any
unauthorized vehicles found in these parking spaces will be towed at the
owners expense. Please inform your guests, house keepers, dog walkers,
contractors, etc.
We've had some instances of people moving the orange "no parking"
traffic
cones to accommodate a motor vehicle. The visitor parking spaces are
being monitored and ALL unauthorized vehicles will be recorded, tagged,
and towed.
Best regards,
- Chris
