Assessments are, by state law, based on the original sales price of the unit. The total amt for the building was arrived by adding all unit prices and individual % of ownership prorated according to the individual unit's price. 7s cost more, therefore have higher assessments, just as a smaller unit on 6 has a lower assessment than a large one on the same floor.
