Update on the reason for the parking delay. Because the originally intended guest parking spaces were changed, and some owners also changed spaces, an amendment to the declaration needed to be made. Now that the association owns the spaces along the building and not those in the remote lot, EVERYONE'S percentage of ownership has changed. NOTE: the percentage change is so microscopic, it really affects nothing. The law requires it is recorded.
An amendment is a large undertaking, and it begins with a new survey of all the parking spaces. This, I'm told is the reason for the continued delay.
